Summer route to Glaskogen
Take route 130 to the largest nature reserve in Värmland, Glaskogen, between 24 June and 11 August 2024. The bus departs from Karlstad as well as from Arvika.
This route is perfect for nature-loving hikers, locals looking for an outing or visitors longing for an amazing nature experience.
This initiative is possible thanks to a cooperation between Värmlandstrafik, Nobina Sweden, and the Glaskogen Foundation.

When yo buy u a bus ticket to Glaskogen, the Glaskogen Foundation offers one free Glaskogenkort (1 day) per person and one free coffee at Café Carl.
Show your bus ticket at the information centre in Lenungshammar to get your discount.
About the traffic
- Route 130 runs two times in each direction per day on Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday between 26 June and 13 August.
- It operates the route Karlstad – Grums – Värmskogs kyrka – Glaskogen – Jössefors – Arvika.
- The route is a part of Värmlandstrafik’s summer timetable. You can travel with Värmlandstrafik’s regular tickets, and there is no need to book a seat in advance.
