Sustainable system solutions with solar power at the center
The future electricity supply is a global societal challenge. The energy issue is central to development at all societal levels, including municipalities, regions, rural areas and major cities. This is a fact for both Värmland and the world.
Glava Energy Center is a member-driven association and an innovation cluster within smart and sustainable energy systems and solar energy that offers northern Europe´s largest testing facility.
Their membership, consisting of approximately 70 members, represents a wide spectrum, including key solar energy players, universities, municipalities, public stakeholders, installers, researchers, as well as small and medium-sized businesses, large corporations, investors, and startups.
A growing hot spot
If you are engaged in solar power in any form, Värmland is a growing hot spot nationally, with forward leaning businesses with a positive attitude for new cooperations to change the world.

"Our overarching goal is to drive and accelerate the green transition"
“Currently, Nordic Solar is constructing Värmland’s largest solar park at the Rottneros pulp mill in Sunne. This facility, built on a repurposed landfill, will primarily supply the mill with locally generated solar electricity. Our overarching goal is to drive and accelerate the green transition. This project is a prime example of that mission. While we began as a solar energy company, we’re evolving into a comprehensive energy provider by integrating energy storage and additional services into our portfolio.”
